A Million Ways to Get Involved: Spring Planting Event

Registration is now closed for the April 24 spring planting event.

April 24, 2010 9:30 AM - 2:00 PM

If you have already registered, thanks for joining the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation and Partnerships for Parks to plant 20,000 trees citywide! With your participation we can make New York City greener and greater.

Things to know:

  • The event runs from 9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
  • If you haven't already, please confirm the number of volunteers with our Volunteer Coordinator by phone, (212) 360-3435, or by email
  • The event will happen rain or shine...but not if there is lightning. We'll provide ponchos!
  • Wear long pants, closed toes shoes, and whatever you don't mind getting dirty.
  • We will provide a free t-shirt and lunch.
